Workin' for a livin'

I can't believe a month has rolled by.  I'm transitioning between jobs and it seems my day jobs are just cutting into my fun jobs!

Over the weekend I found this simple little sconce at Lowes

Of course I couldn't just leave it alone

I added one of their mix and match glass shades
 and just love the effect.
Pure Twinkly Magic!

The area across from the larger mirror has had me stumped.
ooh wrinkly skirt, still gotta fix that...

I initially thought it was a good spot for a large framed panel but it just didn't work.  So here it sits...

Pottery Barn inspiration does the trick!
I just recently found my wedding ring which has been missing in action for over a month.  Surely a shelf like this will keep me in line...

It needs a bit more distressing so the brown shows through.
Ah, as always I'm over anxious and put it up with
 the paint still wet!

The perfect spot for bits and bobs...
I think I'll hang the picture above it but we'll see..
there's some wet spackle hiding under that fleur de lis

My little bench is coming along but still needs it's welt

I just love this twinkly light!

and Bandit loves the ambiance!

perfect for listening to Fiona...
la, la, la...
be kind to me, or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it
I'm an extraordinary machine!

Linking up....
