The stars are aligned

Isn't great when things just seem to fall into place as if the stars are aligned?  The universe really wants me to have an Anthropologie bedroom, it really does...

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day here in New Jersey.  There are certain popular tv shows (that shall not be named)  that give NJ a bad name.   People don't seem to know that we have a lot of this....

and a lot of this

Yesterday I decided to enjoy the lovely day by taking a ride to Long Valley.  On the way I passed these gorgeous Clydesdales at Willow Grove Farm.

There is not much better than driving along, sun shining, sunglasses on, sunroof open, singing out loud.  It's funny how the simple moments can fill you up.

I wasn't really looking for anything...just enjoying the lovely escape

I swear the stars laid her before me!

I'd been thinking of making something like this from guess where...

but here she is

She needs a paint job and fresh fillings but look at those legs!

and the coolest little secret thing (like finding a secret door or hidden passage)

I can't seem to find any information about these little side cushions but the lady at the antique store said they held up those big poofy dresses.

I was so proud of myself having bartered her down from $65 to $55.

I'll have to figure out what to do with her

Ah, yes the stars are aligned!

  1. When I saw the second pic, I thought you were going to say even the horses fall down drunk in NJ! Just kidding. That is the coolest stool. I've never seen one with the hidden sides. You'll definitely knock the socks off the PB one! ~ Maureen

  5. Oh wow thanks Linda! I had so much fun with my Buddha.... When my kids were little they did a project called Flat Stanley. It's kind of like the garden knome that travels the world, lol...
